Good afternoon fellow Seawatch-on-the-Beach owners,
With the recent mailing of the maintenance fee billing that is due by December 31, 2023, there have been owner questions on how to manage this request for payment, especially those owners who own weeks in the third and fourth calendar quarters of 2023. Due to the maintenance fee increase for 2024, most, if not all owners, will have some balance due for 2024 and if it is not paid, you are subject to the standard late fees, etc. Credits for owners that own third quarter 2023 lost weeks should be posted by December 1, 2023, however, these credits are not reflected on the maintenance fee statement. Credits for owners that own fourth quarter 2023 lost weeks will not be posted until March 1, 2024. In both cases, you can let the credits remain on your account until 2025 or request a refund after the credits to your weeks are posted.
For those of you with weeks during weeks 1-26 in 2023, unless you deposited your week(s) in the HGV Club for points or requested a refund to your original form of payment, you should have received a credit on your statement. The net amount due on the 2024 statement should be the difference between the 2023 credit and the 2024 maintenance fee due. Thank you. Tim Pellerin
