Valued Seawatch Owners,
Every day progress continues, and we get more excited as projects are completed and new ones begin. The work outside in the pool deck area continues, plumbers did the exploratory camera work on the storm drains and underground plumbing and are waiting on the report findings. Plumbers also started jetting drains to the street with water to clear sand and debris.
The two washer boxes and water lines in the housekeeping room have been replaced.
The electrical work is moving along as they continued to investigate & rewire the ground floor circuits and installing new electrical boxes in the Lobby Front Offices, Reception, Game room, Maintenance, & Housekeeping areas.
The LVT flooring installation is complete on all the units affected, and the carpet replacement continues. The last of the painting projects is the ground floor, the 1 through 7 floors are complete.
Grading of the pool deck area in preparation for installing plumbing lines and rebar continues. Demolition of outdoor bathrooms and rebuild planning has begun. Due to several unknowns, we are still not confident on a reopening date yet, but I will post it as soon as we have a solid idea.
As we continue to restore your home away from home, please remember it is an active construction site and is closed to the public. I will try to supply the latest information about what is going on, along with pictures of our progress. I know this is the time of year that many of you return to South Florida, but I will ask that you please not come to the resort to take pictures.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving,
Chip & The Seawatch Team
