November 27, 2024 Chip Fosth Update

Valued Owners,

It was SO great to have owners back at Seawatch! Everyone has been so great. We still have a way to go before we are 100%, but it is so wonderful to be able to welcome everyone back. Since our opening, we have finished the pool deck railings around the upper area of the pool deck and handicapped ramp. With backing from the Board, we upgraded the railings from the old, brushed silver, industrial looking railing we had, to classy bronze powder coated railings which were custom made by a company in Naples. They definitely bring a more upscale look to our property. Naples Aluminum, who supplied our last-minute fencing after Hurricane Milton, boxed in our pool and spa equipment, as well as the area where the old ice machine used to sit, with a beautiful white vinyl fencing, giving all areas a nice, finished look. We continue to work on the front of the resort, removing the last roll off dumpster, port a john, and any remaining pallets of old pavers. We have installed all new parking blocks and new handicapped parking spaces for better access. The new entry way lighting from Solarguard really lights up the entry canopy. Our new signs for the property were delivered this week, designating the handicapped areas, smoking area, employee only areas and watch your step considerations. When they are all installed it will continue to give these areas the “finished look” they deserve. Some of the signs around the pool have been placed. Florida State sponsored pool/spa signs have changed, so they have been ordered for the pool deck. We are hoping the geothermal unit will be hooked up this week and the FMB Health department will come in and give us the green light to open the pool. Numerous calls have been made to the propane company to see when we can be scheduled for installation of new units. Mosquito mist has been contacted to schedule the installation of the new no-see-um unit. The new living room and dining room furniture really sets off the remodeling units.

I can tell you that the recent sunsets have been amazing, since I’ve been spending extra time at the resort after our opening. I can see we have a new sand bar closely offshore from the resort now, that during low tide has large amounts of sand dollars and shells. Please remember when picking up shells, they may have residents in them. Please be respectful of them during your shelling. I hope to see you all soon back at Seawatch!

The Seawatch Team and I look forward to greeting you all at check-in!

Staying Seawatch Strong,

Chip Fosth
