Valued Seawatch Owners,
It was great to be able to welcome another week of owners to Seawatch as we continue to get things dialed in at the resort! Rhonda was busy with her blenders out at the new Seawatch Spyglass Pub and the owners were out enjoying the sunshine on the pool deck. Around the resort we installed many of the safety signs and caution tape to the stairs around the pool deck. This will help to show the change in elevation between the two areas. The new paves in these areas are very close in color and this should help guard against trips or falls. The new cornhole court was completed and was ready to play. We moved it to the opposite side of the pool deck from where it was before.
On Saturday we got our next truck load of trees for the front of the resort. Now that the majority of the irrigation system is installed, we can continue the planting. New palms were planted around the resort sign at the entrance to the resort, framing in entrance to the resort. Palms and other trees were installed along the north and side sides of the property lines.
We are hoping that he the railings for the pool and hot tub will be delivered this week, along with the ladder for the pool and the handicapped lift chairs, so we can pass the final inspections. We mounted the new grills on the north side of the building in preparation of the propane installation. We will mount 2 more on the south side of the patio there. Inside the resort, with our owners help, we have been getting all the little things in the units buttoned up. The maintenance and housekeeping teams have been in high gear making the final adjustments.
The sunsets these past weeks have been a perfect reminder of why everyone loves Ft. Myers Beach. We are so happy to see everyone back at Seawatch, and we are so proud that we have been able to open months and potentially years ahead of our neighbors on the beach. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Staying Seawatch Strong,
Chip Fosth
