January 22, 2025 Chip Fosth Update

Valued Seawatch Owners,

Although we don’t have many projects left to complete, this past week, all of them were hampered by the weather. Each day was cold and very windy. We did get one section of the last part of the canopy up but couldn’t complete the remaining sections due to the wind and rain. I did have a very “direct” conversation with the pool company about finishing up, regardless of the weather and the rails, ladders, and ADA chairs are due to be received on Tuesday, my fingers are crossed on the delivery. On Monday we had the pool company that is going to be doing our day-to-day service, bring another pool company out to look over our system, in the event we have to make a change with the remaining pool work. We also had MDB Construction out to look at doing the final trim work for the pool bar and pool bathrooms. They will also be installing the additional doors on the pool bar. Those should be delivered in the next few weeks. That should give the pool bar a more finished look. We had All Stone Restorations out on Saturday to put down a clearcoat with grit over the upper pool deck and handicapped ramps to keep them froing quite so slick when they are wet. We found that in the exceptionally foggy days that those areas needed a little extra help. We are hoping our new exterior lighting will be delivered this week so we can complete that project. Hopefully FMB will have reviewed our Propane application and allow us to move forward on that as well.

I appreciate all the feedback from the owners who have stayed here so far, who told me how closely they followed our recovery on either the Board website, or the Seawatch Facebook page. It was nice to hear all the things they had to say about it. I am proud of the work our team did as we welcome you each week. I definitely look forward to having all of our remaining projects completed and can close the book on the Ian chapter of Seawatch.

Staying Seawatch Strong,

Chip Fosth
