12-27-23 Chip Fosth Update

Merry Christmas from Seawatch!

This week we continued to be busy! The group from Comanche Construction finished hanging drywall in the Front Office, Game Room, Lobby walls, Activities Office & Housekeeping! They began to hang the plywood over the overhang by the Pool Bar for stucco. After a City inspection, they will be able to start mudding & finishing the walls. Shortly afterwards, we anticipate the team from Rock Solid to be out to begin installing the new Pool Bar!

Summit Fire Systems was out all week, pulling out the old fire pump & prepping the area for the new one, along with replacing the panels for the system.

Mor Sports came out & dumped several loads of sand for the tennis court, along with bringing in a roller to pack down the new sand.

Abbey Carpets was in, continuing to replace the flooring in the effected units. Their work should be completed in those areas in the next week. As the ground floor construction progresses, the Abbey team will begin to replace that flooring, along with the carpeting on each floor elevator landings. As you can see from the picture, our beach continues to be raked by Mid Island Watersports & the cabanas are going back out! Our replacement lobby furniture arrives this coming week & will be in the newest of the 4 shipping containers in the front parking lot, waiting for the lobby to be completed.

Unfortunately,  Santa was not able to visit Seawatch again this year, but he did let me know that since most of you were pretty good this year, that he will be back at Seawatch next year! He promises that next Christmas will be the best Christmas at Seawatch!
