February 7, 2024 Chip Fosth Update

Valued Seawatch Owners,
This week we continued to make more significant progress in our restoration! A-Rite Glass was here
replacing mirrors in some of the units that had been broken during restoration. They will be putting the
mirrors in the lobby after the new flooring is put in. United plumbing continues to replace hot water
heaters in the units, we anticipate them finishing up this week. Price Electric got the front office and
game lights going. It makes a huge difference having lights on, on the ground floor! Lights are on in
Housekeeping and Maintenance as well. Hopefully the Atrium lights will be next.
On the outside, the new drainpipes were dropped off to run new lines to the street from the manholes
on either side of the building. Universal Construction will be starting that project this week. Comanche
Construction continued to stucco the ceiling over the pool bar and pillars, they should finish that area
this week. Alfaro Brothers were out front replacing the block wall side wall from our entryway sign. After
stuccoing and painting we will be able to put up the new sign and begin working on the lighting.
Once again, the Seawatch Team and I sincerely appreciate all the support you owners give us as we
continue to work towards reopening your home away from home! It means a lot to us.
As a friendly reminder, Seawatch is an active construction site. Please do not come to the property to
“look around” or ask others to do so. Recently, we have had a number of owners or friends stop in to
see how repairs are coming. The most recent information can be found here or at the Board’s website.
We will not be open in the first quarter of this year and are still unsure of an exact opening date due to
numerous factors. We will give you all the most advanced notice we can when we will be able to open.
Staying Seawatch Strong,

Chip Fosth, Resort Director
