Comanche Construction was busy, continuing to install the new ground floor exit and fire doors. We anticipate the ground floor windows and doors arriving this week. Schindler elevators dropped off our new lobby elevator doors and a pallet of parts so they can begin our elevator restoration this week. United plumbing was here all week trenching and installing new drain lines on the north side of the property and digging the trenches for the new drains on the pool deck. We anticipate them completing the rest of the drains over the next 2 weeks. We will be using the same trench on the south side to run the piping for the geothermal heaters lines as well. Alfaro Brother’s construction was here, excavating the old footers from the privacy wall on south side that separates us from Island Winds. Getting that wall in is critical, as it is the first piece, along with the new drains, in restoring the pool deck area. The team from Rock solid was here spotting and leveling the new pool bar cabinets. After the cabinets are all mounted, they will be able to make templates for the new granite top. We were able to remove the 2 palm stumps from the corners of the property at the seawall, so the seawall will have a nice, finished look when we reopen.

Once again, the Seawatch Team and I sincerely appreciate all the support you owners give us as we continue to work towards reopening your home away from home. It means a lot to us. As a friendly reminder, Seawatch is an active construction site. Please do not come to the property to “look around” or ask others to do so. Recently, we have had a number of owners or friends stop in to see how repairs are coming. The most recent information can be found here or at the Board’s website. We will give you all the most advanced notice we can when we will be able to reopen.

Staying Seawatch Strong,

Chip Fosth

Resort Director

ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder

Valued Owners, We had another bustling week at Seawatch!
